conducts four meetings each year. Each
meeting is hosted by a different municipality whose primary responsibility is to
secure the location and arrange the luncheon.
The Education Committee is responsible for selecting the topics and
securing the speaker(s). Membership
dues are $25.00/year and the average meeting cost is $25.00.
While attendance at the meetings provides the most benefits, membership
entitles the municipality to receive handouts from the meetings and
correspondence (typically emails) of mutual interest.
Another benefit of membership allows a municipality to seek input on tax
questions pertaining to their community from all members of G.O.A.T.A. and the
other tax groups throughout the State.
